Welcome to the 2008 season
FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup
As has been advertised recently, the Under 17 Women’s
World Cup is being held in New Zealand in October and November 2008. This is a
fantastic opportunity for us to see a showcase of some of the best emerging
women footballers in the world.
The club will soon be distributing packs to all coaches and
in conjunction with the senior club, we will be promoting group sales of
tickets to this world class event.
If you are interested in being further involved, and would
like to volunteer for this exciting opportunity, here is some information
recently received. Please rsvp to the email address provided in the letter if
you would like to volunteer.
=====================================================
Dear North Wellington Junior Football players and supporters,
The
season is well under way, we hope everyone is enjoying their games.
Other Important Things
- The draw for each week can be found at www.capitalfootball.org.nz (Fixtures)
- The official draw which takes precedence over the web site is in Thursday’s Dominion Post
- Listen to Newstalk ZB for cancellations from 7.05am and every half after that.
If
you do not hear a cancellation – the game is on. Rain fall on the day
often has no relevance to whether a game is played or not.
Shin pads are compulsory. No player in any game or grade is to take the field without them.
Code of Conduct
The
club and Capital Football have expectations how we as players,
supporters and officials conduct ourselves within the club, with other
clubs and in the public arena in general. Please behave responsibly and
professionally at all times. Visit our website to view the Code.
Enjoy your season everyone.
Kind regards.
Helen Mallon.
